Our Belief

GOD – We believe that God is one, manifested in three persons – The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 4:16-17;1 John 5:7)

THE BIBLE– We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God ( Matthew 24:35, Proverbs 4:20-22)

REPENTANCE – We believe that in order to receive eternal life, man must be born again.  The first step towards new birth is Godly sorrow – which cause man to repent of his sins. (2 Corinthians 7:10)

Our Belife.jpg

BAPTISM BY WATER – We believe that baptism in water is by immersion and for believers only.  (Mark 16:16, Acts 2:41, Acts 18:8, John 1:26, Luke 3:16)

BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT – We practice the laying of hands and believe that there will be subsequent spiritual manifestation. (Acts 2:1-4, Mark 1:7-8).

SALVATION – We believe that salvation delivers us from the penalty and power of sin. (Ephesians 2:1-9, II Corinthians 5:17)

RESURRECTION – We believe in the resurrection of the just and returning of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
(1 Thessalonians 4:16-17,Philippians 3:10, John 11:25, Acts 17:18)

SANCTIFICATION – We believe in the doctrine of Sanctification, which is the definitive yet progressive work of grace which begins at salvation and which will be completed at Christ’s return.  (Ephesians 4:22-24, Galatians 5:12-21)

EVERY BELIEVER – We believe that every believer is called to “full time” Christian service.  Because the Holy Spirit abides in every believer , He has endowed us with spiritual gifts for use and manifestation (1 Corinthian 12:4-10, Ephesians 4:11) and He brings to us the character and nature of Christ which is the fruit of the Spirit (Mark 16:15-16, Romans 6:3-5)

THE LORD SUPPER – (COMMUNION) – We believe in the Lord’s supper – the remembrance of His death, burial and resurrection (Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:15-16)

EVANGELISM – We believe that it is the responsibility of every believer to share the good news with those God brings us into contact with. We practice sharing about Christ and invite friends to church. (Romans 10:13-15, II Corinthians 5:18-20)

TITHES AND OFFERING –We believe that giving tithes and free-will offering is ordained by God for the furtherance of His Kingdom.  (Numbers 18:28, Nehemiah 12:44, Malachi 3:8.)

Our History

Gladtidings Pentecostal Assembly was established in 1979, under the leadership of Reverend Hezron Farrell and Sis. Gwendolyn Farrell. Three years later, a building was purchased and renovated, and G.P.A was registered as a non-profit organization in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

In 1984, the vision for the church expanded into our community and Reverend Farrell began to travel to the West Indies and England preaching the good news and winning souls for the Lord. Reverend Hezron Farrell and now Co-Pastor Gwendolyn Farrell expanded their international evangelism ministry to include South Africa, Israel, Thailand, England, St. Kitts, Nevis, St. Thomas and other countries.

Between 1992 and 1998 an acre of land was purchased and a larger edifice was built, with a seating capacity of four hundred fifty. GPA continued its expansion of services and ministries: including a Praise and Worship Team, food pantry, the Henrietta Scholarship Fund for high school graduates, the Girls and Boys Brigade and the Vision’s pantomime and dance ministry,
In 2000, Reverend Hezron Farrell was consecrated as Bishop and in 2001 Co-Pastor Gwendolyn Farrell was called to the Pastoral office, six youth ministers were added to the church along with Evangelists and Missionaries and an Evangelist outreach was established in Providence and Rhode Island and the G.P.A. Christian Academy was instituted.

In 2002, Gladtidings Pentecostal Assembly, Inc. established a brand new church in Poinciana, Florida with Bishop Farrell as the overseer.

Today we are one church in two locations with over thirty-four ministries, serving the needs of members, friends and those in need.

Our Vision

Our Vision.jpg

Gladtidings House of Prayer for All Nations has been called to raise up a prayer army in this generation and teach them to observe what is written in the Word of God.

“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” Joshua 1:8.

We will Evangelize, Equip, Encourage, Empower, and Admonish in righteousness.

7 Covenant Prayer Keys

Prayer is the foundation on which our church is established and operated. We therefore believe and adhere to the following means of access:

1.  Humble Yourself

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV)

2.  Ask in Faith Believing

“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” Mark 11:24 (NKJV)

3.  Ask, Seek, Knock

“So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.” Luke 11:9-10 (NKJV)

4. Persevere

“Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” James 5:16

5.  Obey God’s Will

“And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.” 1 John 3:22

6.  Forgive

“And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.” Mark 11:25-26

7.  Know God Hears and Answers

“It shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear.” Isaiah 65:24
